Robert "Bob" Olson, a life-long resident of Star Lake, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at his home. He was 74.
Mr. Olson was born April 4, 1933, in Star Lake.
A veteran, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Prior to his retirement, he worked in the area as a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn; a son, Mike (Karen) of Star Lake; a daughter, Barbara (Jack) Ankrum of St. Paul, Minn.; a brother, Clarence (Joan) of Minocqua; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Oct. 22 at Star Lake Cemetery with the Rev. Eugene Hornung officiating.
