This genealogy contains, "John Henry Hauberg. John H. Hauberg born in the rock house in Coe Township, November 22, 1869. Married Susanne Christine Denkmann, June 29th, 1911. Sue was born in Rock Island, Illinois, May 2nd, 1872. She died February 13, 1942, and is buried in Chippianock cemetery, Rock Island." The text contains the following: Sue "had built a new house in Rock Island, ready for occupancy by the time we had enjoyed a brief honeymoon on Star Lake, Wisconsin." Note: In 1911 Oliver Lodge could well have hosted a honeymoon couple. However, what is now Little Star Lake in Manitowish was then called Star Lake and could have been the honeymood location. The reference does not indicate a town but a lake.
