This is a collection of various memories and histories of the Boy Scout Canoe Base on White Sand Lake. See the last page for comments on the closing of the base (1983 in the year by year histories). Star Lake is frequently mentioned, but is not central to the story. There are some interesting notes on the railroads in the area. Dr. Kate Newcomb is mentioned as serving the base.
