Describes the use of a slusher in clearing right-of-way for a logging railroad, and the ridges to the side of the right-of-way where the spoils picked up by the slusher were dumped. The site described is in Taylor County along the Ice Age Trail, and the track was laid for the railroad of the Rib Lake Logging Company in 1906.
