Text

Goodwillie Bros., of Wausau and Chicago, box shook [sic] manufacturers, have bought a plant at Manistique, Mich., and will buy hardwood, pine and hemlock lumber along the Soo and other roads tributary to their mill. Operations at Star Lake, this state, are practically at an end. Only one carload of lumber is left on hand and that is all dressed ready to be shipped. The town is practically deserted, except for a few hunters and fishermen.
