The A. H. Stange Co.'s mill will begin operations April 10. It has a large stock of logs, bought from farmers. The mill has been completely overhauled and will employ about a hundred men on a 10-hour shift. Preparations are being made for the building of a logging road from Star Lake to the company's large timber tract in Vilas County, from which shipments will be made to Merrill during the season.
