J. F. Scholtz, of Star Lake, was arrested for selling liquor at that place without a town license and was taken to Eagle River last week by Sheriff O'Conner. He was fined $75.00 and costs, amounting in all to $261.00 and four months imprisonment in the county jail. That way of the transgressor is hard.
