Died--Mrs. John Harvison, at her home at Star Lake, Thursday, August 22, 1896, aged 74.
Miss Jennette Shrenson was born in Ayrgyleshier, Scotland, 1822, and in 1844 married John Harvison. Soon after they moved to New York, from there to Illinois and then to Iowa. In 1895 they moved to Star Lake, where they have since lived. She was a member of the old Presbyterian church and always lived a good christrian [sic] life. Seven children were born to her, four boys and three girls. The oldest son, James, dying at the age of five years, in Illinois. She leaves a loving husband and six children to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and loving mother. Mrs. L. J. Nightser and Mrs. H. B. Ashton of Washta, Iowa, Mrs. A. Geddis, T. A., Dr. D. B. and M. M. Harvison of Star Lake. We join with their many friends in extending our heartfelt sympathy in their berevement [sic].
