North Country Trail
The North Country Trail, part of the National Trail Network passes through northern Wisconsin.

MINUTES, Governor's State Trails Council Meeting, Friday, July 13, 2007, Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest, Crystal Lake Campground, State Trails Council Member Reports, Hiking/Walking. "[Dave]Phillips commented on the North Country Trail. The National Scenic Trail which travels from North Dakota to New York is close to being complete in Wisconsin. Stewardship dollars and federal-side Land and Water Conservation funding have been used to help acquire land for the trail.
