Vilas County Museum & Historical Society
The Vilas County Historical Museum, founded in 1959, offers an extensive collection of historic exhibits and artifacts dating back to the pioneer days of the late 1800's in northern Wisconsin.*
Since its inception in 1959 the Museum has completed three expansion projects. Each were funded by the generous donations of visitors, residents and by membership fees.*
