Jean Lake
Jean Lake is a 27 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 15 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Panfish and Largemouth Bass. The lake's water clarity is low. [From the DNR website]. The site provides the following additional informaiton: Bottom: 65% sand, 20% gravel, 10% rock, 5% muck. Hydrologic Lake Type: SEEPAGE. Latitude, Longitude : 46.08806540, -89.44942510. Fish Panfish and Largemouth Bass. Trophic Status: Eutrophic. One boat landing. Motorboats are prohibited. Data is as of 2012.
