Jacob died at age 76 in July, 1935. His obituary appeared in the Lakeland Times [Minocqua] on July 5, 1935--per the obituary index at the Plum Lake Library.

+++MRS. EDWARD MYKLEBY

Mrs. Mykleby was the first librarian of the Plum Lake Women's Club Public Library (Now the Plum Lake Public Library) when it opened on December 2, 1939. (From their letter to contributors, November, 2013.)
